AkesseTheLion as popularly referred to has treated patrons of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Experience Concert to some inspirational gospel reggae and ragga over the weekend at the Independence Square.
The event ground was filled with an audience ready to hear from Sarkodie, Shata Wale, and host of other secular artiste but Akesse Brempong managed to ‘steal’ their attention and took them back to the Church with sweet gospel songs portraying the fullness of God’s love.
Akesse who performed on the same stage with Empress Gifty as the only gospel artistes, treated patrons to a variety of his bongo gospel grooves, ‘God is working’ through to the now trending ‘Crazy Love (Afropop rendition)‘ song.
Though the crowd was more secular music oriented, Akesse and his entire Tribe of Judah crew offered great connection and artistry capability which resulted in an appreciation for his performance.
In a related development, Akesse Brempong is set to wowed gospel fans once again with another great song titled ‘Alright (BBF – Bibia Beye fine)’ to be released tomorrow, May 16th, 2019. Anticipate this great piece from the reggae maestro.
