Halal Africa to release ‘The Moment’, an album featuring Ghana’s Akesse Brempong and others

Following a live gospel recording that took place on 8th November 2019, Centurion, South Africa, one of the biggest worship gatherings in South Africa, Halal Africa is set to release their second live recording album ‘The Moment’ on the 15th of November 2020.

This highly anticipated new album features Ghana gospel reggae/ragga/Afrobeat kingpin and ‘Blessed‘ singer Akesse Brempong.

The new album also features top gospel singers from the African continent and around the world. This includes Micah Stampley, Nigeria’s ‘Ebezina’ global hitmaker, Preye Odede, and South Africa’s gospel music vocal goddess, Ntokozo Mbambo.

Benjamin Dube, Takesure Owen, Ayanda Ntanzi, USA-based contemporary gospel sensation, Michael Stuckey, Alice Kimanzi, Takie Ndou, and Taela Robinson are also expected to have their portion on this highly acclaimed album.

“The Moment is an electrifying, spirit-charged gospel album that was recorded from our 2019 event in, Centurion, South Africa. The idea behind the live recording is to take a moment to discover the unexpected beauty of God’s presence through quality praise and worship. God does not ask us for much other than to give him praise and worship at all times. Why not take a moment to attend this concert and enjoy the full experience of being in God’s presence through worship?”

About Halal Africa

Halal Africa is the brainchild of two brothers, Daniel and Godfred Onnomah. Growing up in a close, Christian, musical family in Ghana, we developed a love for worship at a young age. We fondly reminisce over memories of performing as toddlers in our father’s Church, Victory Rock Chapel.

In essence, Halal Africa is a beautiful avenue to bring together powerful ministers from different parts of the world and record soulful African praise and worship songs to help uphold the gospel.

The simple aim of Halal Africa is to spread African gospel music throughout the world. We are moved to express our love to God for who He is and to celebrate His goodness in our lives.
