When two gospel legends meet on a song, you are likely to have one of the greatest gospel collaborations of all time. This is what we are patiently anticipating as the legendary trio, Daughters of Glorious Jesus meet the legendary duo, Tagoe Sisters as they hit the studio to work on a project.
According to management, these Ghanaian gospel icons have existed in the gospel music industry at least since the 1990s (Tagoe Sisters, since 1983 and Daughters since 1990) and are working around the clock to be a blessing to many Ghanaian who have looked up to them, more so, have listened to their song growing up.
Daughter of Glorious Jesus, who are celebrating over 3 decades in the music ministry in an exclusive interview with WorshippersGh some weeks back, are ready to revamp their ministry this year, with many surprises to look out for. In assuring fans of what is yet to come, they launched their new single of the year ‘Y’aseda Dwom’.
This collaboration with Tagoe Sisters is a step in the right direction as they begin to gradually unveil their many yet-to-come surprises.
The evergreen twins Lydia Dedei Yawson Nee Tagoe and Elizabeth Korkoi Tagoe, have released hit upon hit since the 1980s till now and it doesn’t look like their stopping any time soon.
This collaboration, as a matter of fact, will help fans relive their good old days as one of the gospel acts who brought gospel music alive in songs such as ‘Wo Ye Jesus’, ‘Manya Yesu’, Abandenden’, ‘Osombo’, ‘Yedi Nkunim’, among others.
