Ruth Adjei announces new single “Same Old God” ft. Minister Igwe – Drops on March 21
Ghanaian award-winning gospel singer, songwriter, and ‘Siesie Me’ hitmaker Ruth Adjei has officially announced a new upcoming single “Same Old God” featuring Minister scheduled for release on March 21.
Already, there is a whole new level of anticipation that has started building up these few days after the announcement of “Same Old God” single, especially on Social Media.
The song hinges on the faithfulness, and unconditionality of God’s nature to fulfill every word he has spoken to us through His Word.
Speaking about an encounter she had with a video on social media that questions the existence of God, Ruth Adjei shares she was immediately inspired by the Holy Spirit to pen the lyrics of the song. In the song, Ruth uses herself as a case study to remind the world that God is able to fulfill His promises to His people and has never changed in His ways.
“I came across this video with somebody speaking blasphemously about God and His existence. I got so furious in my spirit and asked myself if this person hasn’t encountered our God before. Then I begun writing the lyrics of the song”
